Peggy Lipton: was born in New York in 1947. In her late teens, she was a successful model and made TV appearances on mid-'60s episodes of The Virginian and Bewitched. However, her breakthrough role came in 1968 when she was cast in the undercover police drama The Mod Squad. Peggy was probably more mod and a little less squad than your average L.A. cop. She had long straight straw-colored hair, the bedroom eyes of an innocent angel. A cute hippie chick, she was also a lean hipster, with groovy patterned dresses and big bell bottoms adorning her lissome frame.
