Weekend Eye Candy - 1967 Geoffrey Beene Dress
...or the bottom half of one. 1967 - Geoffrey Beene, native Louisianan, fashion spark of American ingenuity, throws a hundred million sequins into a mirror miracle of a shape; scatters neon flowers at random, then garlands the hem. I want to see the rest of the dress, don't you? And how about those silver vinyl thigh-high boots?
Fashion Eccentric
Diana Vreeland: (born Diana Dalziel on July 29, 1903 in Paris, France – August 22, 1989) was a noted columnist and editor in the field of fashion. She began her work in fashion at Harper's Bazaar and later became the editor of Vogue. She inspired everyone from debutantes to drag queens with her mark on fashion. Or perhaps it was the other way around. With her heavily rouged cheekbones, mile-long lashes and red lacquer everywhere - trademarks that identified her for decades - one could imagine they were in the presence of a modern Watteau, reality presented to the viewer with a gentle caress. In terms of her personal style, Diana loved simple elegant clothing with splashy accessories. Exotic jewelry, hats and wonderful shoes were among her favorite fashion items.

House of Blueeyes - Party
Party Time!
It was held in Shoerditch and as I have promissed here are some pictures!
A wild event, the collection " Don't be afraid of the darkness within ", was inspired by " vampire girls and classic rock and roll ". A collaboration of designers which makes " The House of Blueeyes ".
Johnny Blueeyes, resources vintage pieces and makes exquisite one off designs as well as printed garments. He is a London based stylist working internationally with bands & performers.
Other collaborating designers amongst a few:
Carol Wiseman: Fine jewellery and accesories.
Fiona Deffenbaugh: Jewellery and accessories.
Victoria Grant: Amazing milliner.
Rob Goodwin: Leather designer.
Lauren Wood: Accesories.
So, the models had to catwalk through the three floors of the venue! Starting from the top floor the models were in a proper catwalk a small part of the venue where was just plain white walls with some few seats, they would then come to the ground floor where they just had to walk through the crowds which had stayed at the bar area... It was just so different and so informal. It rocked!
Pictures now, here the most demure ones!!
